From the mouths of babes….

Almost a week into our families attempt to live more sustainably and our lovely little boy, Samuel has been taking all this very seriously. The main thing he has focused on is reducing how much plastic he is using. His class went to Bovisand beach on Tuesday and made a plastic rainbow from all the plastic rubbish the children found on the beach. He has made a little video that he wants to show everyone – see below AND he has promised to give up his demands for Lipton Iced Tea everytime we go to a shop (strange tastes!!). We have found a powdered form of Iced tea drink we can make at home and luckily he thinks this tastes even better (phew!). This has reduced at least 19 plastic bottles being bought when we are out and about….as long as we remember to take the homemade version with us!
